Belated Merry Christmas and New Year to everyone out there. I thought that I would be blogging on Christmas. Obviously, I didn’t. I was just far too busy preparing for the Selection Test which I had to sit for on 29 December. And guess what? I’ve gotten in to the National Qualifying Round!
I must say that I almost went bonkers on the week itself. It was just far too stressful. They had to eliminate 6 out of 12 people. I’m glad that my journey didn’t end there. That’s really a good start for this New Year. Considering the fact that the competition is quite a prestigious one, I’m glad that I get the chance to represent my school along with 5 other school mates. Not sure if I would ever get into the National Finals, but I’m hoping that I will. After all, I’ve come all the way from the beginning till now, from 30 plus people to the present 6.
I’m sure I’ll be really busy in weeks to come. We’ll have to sit for some certifications and continue with our training. Yes, I’m only granted a 1 day weekend. Like they say, no pain, no gain. There ought to be some sacrifices made. *sigh*
On another note, yesterday marks the end of the Snow Wolf Lake musical world tour. That was the first ever musical that I’ve watched. Adding on to that, I’ve got the chance to have a picture taken with Nnadia Chan who acts as Phoenix in the musical. Yes, that was actually my happiest day for the year, 2005. It’s such a rare chance. I must be really blessed, honestly.
